The group is a constructive and cooperative experience that emphases heavily on communication, working with each other, and motivation for change. Our groups are intended to help men and women of various ages have more efficacious relationships. These groups partner education with an inspection of real-life situations presented by members. Topic areas may include communication skills, provision and reinforcement, and handling emotions.
Task-Oriented Groups
Our task-oriented groups are for men and (or) women of various ages who seek to better self and grow in knowledge. Group members learn tangible abilities and tools within our sessions. Task-oriented workshops typically include a program with periodic at-home work assignments, insightful discussions, and light reading. Workshops meet between 4-8 sessions. To see what task-specific workshops are being offered, please contact our offices.
Process Oriented Groups
Group therapy is an influential tool for development and transformation. In process groups, individuals meet face-to-face to discuss their struggles and worries with the assistance of one to two trained group therapists. The power of process groups lies in the unique opportunity to receive multiple perceptions, care, inspiration, and feedback from other individuals in a safe and personal environment. These interpersonal connections can provide group members a chance to grow their level of self-awareness and to learn how they communicate to others.
