I have been with the Family Counseling Center since 2019. My starting position with FCC was the Administrative Assistant to the clinic and in December 2020, I started my new and current role as the agency’s Business Manager. I have over 15 years of experience as an office manager and 10 years of experience working in the legal field as a legal assistant. She I am currently enrolled as a student at Liberty University, seeking my degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources. I moved to the CSRA in 2015 with my husband who is an Army veteran and our 3 children. I am a small business owner and when not working at FCC, I enjoy spending my time managing my small business, coaching recreational volleyball, out at the football field, or spending time with friends and family. FCC is very special to me. After years of watching family members closest to me struggle with mental illness, and having trauma of my own, I knew I was in the right place when I saw the difference that FCC was making in the lives of their clients. I knew I wanted to be a part of that difference too. I firmly believe that FCC is doing amazing work in this community. It is not every day that you find a group of professionals whose sole purpose is dedicated to helping others move forward in life, regardless of their personal circumstances. I am proud to say I work for a company that puts a special meaning to community service, and that backs it all up with the incredible services they provide for those who need it the most. So long as the doors are open and FCC continues to provide these wonderful services to the community, I plan to be here and contributing to the fight of mental health awareness in any way I can.
